5 places where consistency will help you skyrocket your sales
What does consistency in business look like for you?
Maybe it’s posting on Instagram 3 x a week, maybe it’s delivering an A* service or having a day dedicated to goal setting and reviewing every month.
Whatever it is consistency in business builds trust and improves efficiency. And it’s no surprise that your audience will want both – trust and efficiency.
Be honest now…
Are you as consistent as you would like? Sometimes life can get in the way and we get thrown a little off our game. The times when you don’t feel inspired or creative. The times when your family need more of your time and energy. The times when you just need some time out from your business.
And, that is TOTALLY okay.
Despite this, consistency is a driving force behind sales and if you’re inconsistent and not for a good reason it may be time to reevaluate.
Here are my 5 top tips on how to get consistent and reap the rewards:
1. How you spend the first hour of your day
When you wake up in the morning what is the first thing you do? If it has anything to do with reaching for your phone, checking emails, scrolling through social media and then letting limiting beliefs seep their way in then YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG. Wake up and use your morning to be intentional. Focus on what you want and how you want your day to go. That alone will make a massive difference!
2. IG stories
In my opinion one of the best, quickest and easiest ways to get sales and enquiries and it’s totally FREE. Although the feed algorithm isn’t a fan of sales-y language IG stories are the perfect space to showcase your latest offer or client case study. When was the last time you showed up on there? Scheduled time in every week to hop on and share something with your community.
3. Follow up
They say the fortune is in the follow-up! Only 2% of deals are closed at the first meeting, with a massive 80% being closed after 5 follow-ups! If following up makes you feel icky try to reframe it to the fact that you’re doing your potential new client a favour by checking in. Sometimes emails get lost or forgotten about and people are quite appreciative of the reminder.
4. Gratitude
A sure-fire way to get yourself into a positive mindset and probably the quickest and easiest way too. When sales drop it’s natural to feel flat and like you’ve lost your mojo. If you want more positivity in your life you have to start by recognising the existing positivity. You can make a start by spending a minute journaling all the things you’re grateful for.
5. More of what brings sales
Have you ever asked yourself the question – what actually brings you in sales? Is it sales calls? Is it going live? Is it being someone’s guest on a podcast? Is it a certain CTA? Whatever it is – make that your focus for the week ahead!
